The Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Public Accounting concentration is the first step towards the knowledge and skills required to become a certified public accountant (CPA). The curriculum provides students with a foundational knowledge of auditing, financial statement preparation, federal taxation, financial data analysis, cost management and accounting information systems.

What You Will Learn in the Online Accounting Bachelor Degree - Public Accounting Concentration
The Public Accounting concentration is designed to prepare you to enter public accounting as a junior accountant, junior auditor or taxation accountant. Graduates of the Public Accounting concentration are also prepared to work as accountants at the corporate level.
The foundational knowledge presented in this program is designed for all students of accounting. However, the foundational basis has been built around the tenants of the CPA exam sections. Students wishing to sit for the CPA exam should determine the necessary education requirements in their home or work state by look at www.nasba.org.

Fast-Track to a Master’s Degree
Cambridge College Global encourages students to earn both their undergraduate and graduate degrees through the Fast-Track program. Undergraduate students may apply to the Fast-Track program if they have 90 credits and a GPA of 3.0. Accepted students may apply up to 12 graduate credits earned in the Fast-Track program towards the requirement for both degrees. Please discuss your academic plans with your advisor early in your degree.
