Jeff Cronin has extensive experience in both academic and public libraries. He has been a research librarian at the Harvard Business School for over 17 years, assisting both students and faculty with their research. Prior to Harvard, he served in the investment industry as a stockbroker at Moseley, Hallgarten, Estabrook, & Weeden, and as a securities trader at Fidelity Investments. He is an active member of the Special Libraries Association. He has published in Library Journal and Magazines for Libraries and is a regular contributor to the Journal of Business and Finance Librarianship.

Dr. Shawn Entrikin has more than 10 years of experience in higher education, as both a member of faculty and as faculty development committee chair. Dr. Entrikin teaches human resources, general business, management and organizational development courses. Prior to joining New England College of Business in 2011, he held progressively more advanced positions within human resources management with the federal government and in the private sector. Dr. Entrikin has broad experience ranging from strategic planning, leadership development and change management to HR specialties including compensation/bonus programs, benefits administration, labor laws, contract negotiation and the development and delivery of corporate training programs. A veteran of the United States Navy, he resides in San Diego with his wife and two daughters, and is actively pursuing his PhD in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership.

Dr. Ned Gandevani, Ph.D., is the program chair for the Master of Science in Finance in New England College of Business. He has extensive experience in academia and industry in the field of finance and risk management.
His academic background encompasses 12 years of on-ground and online teaching experience with universities across the country. Prior to joining NECB, Dr. Gandevani served as the Dean of Business and Management at a national university, leading both undergraduate and graduate programs.
As a professional trader and hedge fund manager, he has spent more than 20 years developing quant systems and macro strategies in creating investment portfolios. He’s trained and coached many professional traders and hedge fund managers for more than a decade on utilizing different asset classes, including futures, options, and Forex to maximize their trading performance. Moreover, his groundbreaking theory and approach to trading psychology, Trading Personality Profile test (TPP), has helped traders to optimize their performance while minimizing the potential losses.
An avid researcher, Dr. Gandevani has written more than 40 published articles and essays; and four published books on investment, finance, business, and investment psychology. He has presented at different conferences and seminars and has been featured in national publications such as, USA Today, Stocks and Commodity, Futures, and others. He is a contributor to some of prestige financial blogs, including Seeking Alpha, and GuruFocus. Dr. Gandevani is a member of several prominent professional associations, including The American Finance Association (AFA), The Society for Quantitative Analysts (SQA), and the American Management Association (AMA). He is an affiliate member of the Market Technicians Association (MTA).

Patrick Hutchinson has taught in the General Education Department at New England College of Business since 2008 and currently serves as Chair of the New England College of Business Curriculum Committee. His teaching duties include class participation and student performance and evaluation activities. He also participates in a variety of administrative and academic duties, including course development, course revision, textbook review, graduation-related activities and other activities relating to the New England College of Business learning community. He is a librarian and has worked in a number of academic, corporate and legal settings.

Dr. Patalano oversees all aspects of several graduate programs, including curriculum design, faculty hiring and assessment, student admissions and program assessment. She brings well over a decade of experience in higher education with a strong focus on adult learners and online delivery methods. Her academic background is paired with executive-level management experience from a variety of industries including financial services, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing and nonprofit. Dr. Patalano holds the professional designations of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), as well as advanced training and certifications in mediation, executive coaching and situational leadership. Dr. Rindell has worked within the global healthcare industry for the past 13 years in a variety of increasingly complex roles within the global healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. During his tenure with Pfizer, he worked in global human resources/worldwide talent and organizational capability/global learning and development and has extensive experience designing, developing and facilitating global leadership and management programs in the healthcare industry. He has successfully launched several new branded pharmaceutical products to the market in the areas of primary and specialty care and collaborated with key opinion leaders and stakeholders within the global healthcare industry. He also educated medical professionals on disease states and products in an effort to improve patient outcomes within outpatient, hospital, academic and long-term care settings. He is currently the global training and delivery manager for Cigna where he leads a team of highly skilled master facilitators and learning specialists for Cigna University. Dr. Rindell has taught and developed course content in a variety of academic, corporate and executive education settings over the past 10 years and has extensive experience teaching in on-ground and online programs. He also holds an Advanced Certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management from Cornell University. In 2013, he was elected to the Board of Education for the Town of Salem, CT and also serves on the Board of Visitors for the University of Hartford. He is a faculty associate member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the Association of University Programs in Healthcare Administration.

Deborah Sementa has been in the financial services industry for over 26 years. For over a decade, she was a principal examiner for the State of Connecticut Department of Banking in charge of information systems examinations in addition to assisting in various other examination and management functions. In her capacity as a regulator, Professor Sementa was a speaker and served on a panel with other industry experts for the Banking Compliance Association of Connecticut. She served as the Compliance Officer for the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, a multibillion dollar community bank, where she oversaw the compliance function covering all areas of the bank. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and a Certified Risk Professional (CRP) and is presently pursuing her doctoral degree. Professor Sementa is a former president of her local chamber of commerce where she spent many years on the board of directors. She was involved with the organization of the Chamber's Charitable Foundation, where she currently serves as a board member. She also served several years as chairperson of the Eastern Massachusetts Compliance Network (EMCN), an organization with a membership of over 130 compliance professionals.

From auditing to controlling and managing, accounting has been the biggest part of her life. Viens works hard to bring the real world into the classroom and continually explore opportunities to take the students out of the classroom to work with companies including the Internal Revenue Service, Hasbro, City of Newport, Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Department of Unclaimed Property and Johnson & Wales University. For almost two decades, Viens has served organizations as Chief Financial Officer, Controller, Senior Auditor and Managing Partner. Her experience in business has led her to work with the tax, construction, education and recreation verticals.
Viens teaches courses in Accounting I, Accounting II, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Principles of Banking, and Financial Statements for Managers. She specializes Individual Income Taxes, Corporate Income Taxes, Not-for-Profit Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Intermediate and International Accounting.

Dr. Weir began his career in the field of marketing and advertising. He was group vice president with BBDO International and managed accounts such as Campbell Soup, Dodge, Schaefer Beer and Major League Baseball, among others. After 20 years in marketing, he entered the education field and taught marketing and later held an endowed chair in strategic marketing.
Dr. Weir has extensive experience in adult and professional education, distance learning and academic assessment. He held the position of Associate Dean of Continuing and Adult Education at Emerson College and was Dean of the School of Business at Harcourt Higher Education, the first online college licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has also developed online programs for Universitas 21 (an international consortium of universities headquartered in Singapore), developed an MBA program for a new university in Dubai and worked with Brandeis University on new online degree programs.
