What is the status of NGS?
There will be a change for NGS, occurring in the near future. After more than twenty-five years of operating as an independent institution of higher education, The National Graduate School of Quality Management (NGS), headquartered in Falmouth, Massachusetts, will become a division of New England College of Business (NECB) in Boston, Massachusetts. Projected in January, NGS will become a division of NECB. Both schools are accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.
How does this affect me as a student?
Students currently enrolled in NGS will see no disruption in their Quality Systems Management degree programs at the Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral levels. All educational and support services currently provided by NGS for its students will be provided by NECB. This plan is a good fit for both schools whose respective missions are similar.
Students currently enrolled can be assured that upon completion of their academic studies they will be awarded a degree from NECB with the Quality Systems Management specialization.
NECB will be offering the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Science in Quality Systems Management
- Master of Science in Quality Systems Management
- Doctor of Business Administration in Quality Systems Management
All courses taken and passed at NGS will be transferred to NECB.
Will the courses be taught on the same learning management system?
For students transferring from NGS, the curriculum will be offered through the Jenzabar Portal that you are now using. In early 2019, the curriculum will be offered through NECB’s learning management system, Canvas. You will be fully supported and guided through this transition process when it occurs.
What do I need to do to stay a student in my degree program?
You will need to complete an Online Application for admission through the NECB Student Enrollment Portal. An NECB Admissions Representative will guide you through this process.
What are my options for transferring my credits and not continuing with NECB?
The transferability of credits is always up to the receiving institution. If you are looking to transfer to another institution and not continue with NECB, then you should look into that institution’s transfer credit policy and/or contact that institution’s Registrar office for more information.
Will my tuition remain the same?

Will I receive a monthly bill from NECB?
