Given my compliance background, please feel free to contact me with questions (or information) on healthcare compliance, including data privacy matters, as I have an extensive background working with clients advising on matters related to HIPAA regulations, Anti-kickback statutes, FCPA regulations, PhRMA code, regulatory matters and general day-to-day business operational matters, as it relates to internal process improvement.

Global Policy Architecture, Biogen Idec, I was responsible for developing (and implementing) a global policy framework, to include: methods (and tools) for how to develop, write, and implement global policies, and creation of a compliance committee advising how policies would be approved (and by whom), who would serve on the committee.

2015 - Present, MultiPlan, Inc., the healthcare industry’s most comprehensive provider of healthcare-cost management solutions. ASSOCIATE COUNSEL - Manage HIPAA compliance program; commercial client and vendor contract negotiations; advise and assist with state regulatory filings, including staying abreast of any regulation changes; assist with other day-to-day general legal matters.

2012 - 2014, Biogen Idec, develops, manufactures, and markets innovative therapies for patients living with serious neurological, autoimmune, and rare diseases.

SENIOR COMPLIANCE MANAGER - Advised U.S. commercial business on legal (and compliance) regulations/transactions; assisted with global data privacy program operations; collaborated with subject-matter experts to develop, write, and interpret policies (and procedures) addressing identified commercial and R & D transaction risk areas; lead ad-hoc compliance projects.

2011 - 2012, Shire Pharmaceuticals, a global innovator of specialty biopharmaceuticals.
