How I Might Be Able to Assist

I am readily available to answer students questions and resolve concerns as it relates to any area of the Business Programs and Information Literacy. I enjoy interaction with students and welcome the chance to help you succeed! With my background in Business, Interactive Technology and Education, I bring a well-rounded view to many situations and will be able to respond from a variety of perspectives.

Professional Projects or Initiatives of Interest

Having a strong desire to find innovative methods to assist students in receiving a quality educational experience and uncovering weaknesses in curriculum, Professor Callaway has undertaken an extensive research project on developing assessments to gauge student learning. Researching for gaps in methods of learning assessment, her doctoral dissertation will focus on the latest trends and their importance to the quality of student learning in an institution of higher education.

Professional Experience

Tina Callaway has an extensive background of over 30 years in Business and is the President and co-owner of Mitica Holdings, Inc., a real-estate investment firm.  Coupled with her work in corporate American, she also is highly experienced with over 14 years in education as a Program Director of Business, Assistant Chair of Business,  and a full-time faculty member. Staying on top of current trends in business, she is able to offer students a current and real-life outlook on the business front while serving their needs in an educational capacity.
