How I Might Be Able to Assist

I have a deep commitment to promoting the success of under-represented students, including first-generation and adult learners. As the first person in my family to earn a college degree, I have experienced the empowerment and transformation possible through education. I consider myself an advocate for and empathize with those who have historically been underserved and disenfranchised by higher education. I work hard to promote the success of my students and am always available for questions!

Professional Projects or Initiatives of Interest

Research interests include first-generation student issues, metacognition, persistence/retention, student success programs, and utilization of the Let Me Learn Process with students and working adults. In 2013, Dr. Hall helped author  Intentional Learning for College Success, an online textbook used by over 40,000 online students per year.
