Professional Projects or Initiatives of Interest

Oversee a $300M insurance company’s annual operational risk assessment by department and program in order to provide a qualitative and quantitative assessment of where departments allocate resources or have the most issues.

Extensive experience with professional associations and student-based organizations as a professional parliamentarian focused on governance.

Started my first business at age 13 which led to interest in management and accounting. Since this time, I’ve operated as a sole proprietor, partnership, corporation, and LLC. I’ve also been a founding member of five not-for-profit organizations.

Professional Experience

Evan has a diverse background in audit, tax, and advisory services.

He has experience working with businesses with revenues ranging from $10K to well over $300M. His industry experience is with insurance carriers and agencies, non-profit entities, defense manufacturers, real estate holdings and private equity companies.

For audit engagements, he has issued financial statements in conformity with GAAP/GAAS, PCAOB, and SSARS 19 OCBOA (income tax-basis and cash-basis) standards. On tax engagements, his emphasis is on income taxes, sales taxes, payroll taxes, and calculation of deferred taxes.

As a CFE, Evan's advisory services focus on fraud detection and prevention in businesses, investigation of asset misappropriation by key employees, and preventing fraudulent financial reporting.
