Downloading the Epic Player
Course Installation for New Students:
- You will be enrolled in your course(s) and the Student Orientation course the Thursday before the start of the term. At that time, you will receive your account information via email. This will give you adequate time to download your course(s) and the Epic Player application.
- Courses in the Epic platform will be downloaded to your computer so that you can view them offline.
Don't forget to watch the Navigation video in the Student Orientation course
to learn some tips about the Epic platform.
- Important: Make sure your computer meets the minimum specifications required to run the software.
- Please follow the directions below at least one day prior to the course start date.
Using the computer with which you intend to complete your course:
- Locate the email containing your Epic username and password. This email will be sent to you the Thursday before the start of class (Subject: NECB Enrollment). During the download process, you will need to enter your username and password on the screen below, along with this Epic Web Site URL: http://www.necb.edu/config/necb.zip.
- Make sure you are connected to the Internet and click the button below to download the application.
- Click the "Epic Client Install Directions" link.
- Scroll down and click the "Download Epic Player" button.
