Your academic success is our highest goal. From the start of your program, New England College of Business resources are available to help you reach your goal of graduation. Academic advisors are available to assist in planning out your degree program and course selections. Comprehensive Electronic Library

Imagine going to the library anytime, anywhere. Our online library offers a vast array of scholarly and professional research materials. Access to the NECB Online Library is as easy as clicking on the Getting Started section of your course, or the MyNECB student portal. In addition, Information Literacy, a required course in the undergraduate program, will help you to effectively use the online library and to apply critical thinking skills, to identify credible research topics, organize and analyze information, and prepare professionally written reports. Technical Support

Computer and Internet Access

To participate in an online course, you must have access to a computer that can play audio and video. You also need a broadband Internet connection. An Internet connection is necessary to participate in discussions and assignments, access readings, transfer course work, and receive feedback from your professor and/or academic coach.

Free Computer Skills Training

Improve your technology skills prior to enrollment with free computer training from GCF LearnFree.org.

You will have access to tutorials on computer, Internet and email basics, as well as specific lessons on Internet safety, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Office products from Word to PowerPoint to Excel and more. Make the most of your online education by expanding your knowledge of available computer and software tools.

Online Bookstore

If your course requires a textbook, you can order your books easily and quickly through NECB´s virtual bookstore at www.necbbookstore.com. If you have any questions, or if you'd rather place your order on the phone, please feel free to call the bookstore's toll-free customer service line at 1.800.876.4636. Through the virtual bookstore, you may be able to purchase used books and sell your books back to the store.

If you prefer to buy your textbook elsewhere, make sure that you use the exact ISBN number to guarantee that you get the correct edition.

Official College Transcripts

NECB Transcript Requests can be ordered by completing the NECB Transcript Request Form and mailing or faxing it to the College.

Graduation Policies

Petition to Graduate

Any student who will satisfy all of the requirements for a Degree program or Professional Development Certificate by December and have no more than two courses outstanding by June is required to petition to graduate. Students may do this by completing the following survey online and sending in the required petition fee. Graduation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; therefore, before submitting the Petition to Graduate, students should verify that they will meet graduation requirements. If you are not sure if you have satisfied all requirements, please call (617) 951-2350 to speak to your advisor.
