Undergraduate Admissions

NECB´s open admissions policy allows anyone with a high school diploma or GED the opportunity to enroll. We accept applications for our Associate in Science in Business Administration (ASBA) and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).

The following items must be completed at the time of application:

Application for Admission
High school transcripts or proof of GED
Student Financial Agreement or financial loan documentation if student is seeking alternative funding
Payment of $50 application fee (one-time, non-refundable) and $50 annual e-resources fee
Enrollment Agreement

NECB wants to help you succeed and benefit from the very beginning of your academic experience. If you have never attended NECB before, you will be given an English and Math diagnostic exam prior to enrolling in any course. If you pass the exams, you can enroll in any of NECB's courses. If you do not pass either test, your first courses will be Basic Math and/or Development English.

You are exempt from taking the diagnostic tests if you have an Associate, Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree. You are also exempt if you have 24 or more college credits.

NECB offers several financing options to help students cover the costs of their education. In addition, NECB will work with companies to set up a direct billing arrangement which simplifies tuition processing for the company while allowing qualified employees to attend college without needing to pay tuition up-front.

NECB offers courses 6 terms per year with evening and online classes to fit almost every schedule. Whether you are looking for traditional classes or an online degree in Business Administration, NECB makes it possible for almost everyone to enjoy the benefits of college education.

Graduate Admissions

We accept admission applications for our accelerated Master of Science in Finance (MSF) or Master of Science in Business Ethics and Compliance (MBE) programs throughout the year. Evaluation of each candidate's application is based on the following:

Application for Admission
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college with a 2.70* GPA or higher or foreign credential equivalent established by a third party evaluation agency
Official copies of all college/university-level transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) along with program and course descriptions if student is seeking to transfer credit
Essay (approximately one-two pages) describing how the Master of Science in Finance (MSF) or the Master of Science in Business Ethics and Compliance (MBE) will help student achieve his/her long and short term personal and professional goals.
Optional: the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required. However, you can submit scores to strengthen your application.

Two letters of recommendation
Non-refundable application fee of $75.00 and $50 annual e-resources fee
Foreign language students must achieve a score of 550 or better on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam, or demonstrate proficiency in English as established through SAT or the ACT tests, or other methods documenting the student's fluency in English.

*The MSF and MBE Department Chairs will evaluate and approve applications to ensure admissions requirements have been satisfied.
