Institutional Mission Statement

The mission of the New England College of Business and Finance is to provide industry-focused, high quality education and training for students interested in careers in financial services through degree and career development programs that help them achieve success in their personal and professional lives.

Educational Objectives

To accomplish its mission, New England College of Business has established the following objectives:

  • Provide academic programs that have been developed and assessed by faculty, staff, and members of educational, professional, and business communities.
  • Provide a foundation of general education through associate's degrees, certificates, seminars, and customized training programs that build basic competency for sound decision making and develop specific competencies within the student's areas of expertise.
  • Provide intensive and comprehensive instruction using online modes of delivery that strengthens student academic achievement.
  • Provide options for additional personal and professional growth through partnership programs and articulation agreements.
  • Admit students whose interests, goals, and abilities are congruent with the mission of the college; and, once the students are admitted, to effectively utilize the full resources of the college to facilitate student learning and to reduce academic, cultural, linguistic, social, psychological, and financial barriers to their success.
  • Instill in its students the value of lifelong learning by stimulating intellectual curiosity, creative and critical thinking, and awareness of culture and diversity.
  • Plan and provide facilities and resources that respond to the needs of students, faculty, and staff through governance, administrative structures and services which assure overall institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, and sound management of resources.
  • Assist students in developing professional attitudes, values, skills, and strategies that will foster success in their careers and in life.
  • Prepare students to meet the ever-changing needs of their communities now and in the future.
